Lecture given by Dr Joanna McParland of Glasgow Caledonian University to the West of Scotland Pain Group on Wednesday 24th March 2010. Dr McParland discusses beliefs about justice and fairness and how they impact on the person with chronic pain.

Notice of meeting: Education & Audit in Pain

The next meeting of the WOSPG will be on Wednesday 27th January, and has been organised by the Pain Fellows Ajit Panicker and Ryan Moffat.

The theme for the meeting is "Education & Audit in Pain: Looking Back & Moving Forward", and we have speakers from anaesthetics, physiotherapy and psychology.

The programme for the evening (not necessarily in this order!) is
"Medical Pain Training in the UK: What, How and Why?" - Dr Ryan Moffat
"Survey of Pain Training in the UK: Where does Glasgow stand?" - Dr Ajit Panicker
"Following the Yellow Brick Road" - Pain management physiotherapists

As usual the venue for the meeting will be the Ebenezer Duncan Centre at the Victoria Infirmary. Supper is available from 6.00pm, with the presentations starting at 7.00pm.
