About us

We are a group of healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, psychologists ....) working in the field of pain management throughout the West of Scotland.

We meet during the academic year (October to May) at 7pm, in the Adelphi Centre, 12 Commercial Road, GLASGOW, G5 0PQ.

Meetings comprise a talk from an invited speaker, followed by group discussion. The meetings are a great way to keep in touch with colleagues and stay up to date with treatment advances and service developments.

The committee of the Group consists of a treasurer, chairman and honorary secretary. These positions are currently occupied as follows:

Chairman: Andy Crockett, New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow
Treasurer: Clare Bridgestock, New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow
Secretary: Rachel Wylie, New Victoria Hospital, Glasgow

How to join

Membership is free, and open to all interested healthcare professionals and students in the West of Scotland. You don't have to be working in any particular area, just interested in managing pain more effectively.

To add your name to our mailing list, please contact Rachel Wylie at 0141 347 8005.
