Just to remind you of the next West of Scotland Pain group meeting on Wednesday 25th January 2012. This meeting has been organised by the two Glasgow pain fellows, Dr Vishal Gupta, and Dr Fahim Anwar, with four trainees presenting on the topics below
1. Andrew Harvey- New opioids side effects.
2. Sunder Muthukrishnan- Prevalence of chronic pain after caesarean section.
3. Sashi Kiran - Techniques of perioperative pain relief in elective thoracotomy patients.
4. Vishal Gupta-Pain in victims of torture.
The meeting will be held in the Ebenezer Duncan Centre at the Victoria Infirmary, with presentations starting at 7pm. However, a buffet supper is available from 6pm onwards.
